Linux & Automation Services

Maintain Linux hosts and automate configuration, patching and everyday operational tasks.

Where we help

Unrecorded server changes and inconsistent configuration make failures harder to reproduce. We investigate service, resource and network behavior, then turn recurring work into documented automation.

What we deliver

The engagement is scoped around your current environment, dependencies and priorities. Typical deliverables include:

  • Linux configuration and hardening baselines
  • Ansible roles and repeatable server setup
  • Patching, backup and service management procedures
  • Shell and Python automation with operational logging

Tools and integrations

Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL-compatible distributions, systemd, Ansible, Bash, Python and Nginx.

We can integrate with an existing toolchain or evaluate alternatives. Product selection follows the workload, team skills and support requirements.

Verification and handover

Automation is checked for repeatability and safe reruns. Service startup, permissions, logs, resource limits and the agreed backup or restore paths are verified.

You receive the agreed code and configuration, technical decisions, operating procedures and a walkthrough. Ongoing support is available under a separately agreed scope.

From scope to ownership

Know what success looks like.

Acceptance checks are agreed before implementation, not added at the end.

  1. 01 / Review

    Understand the starting point.

Walk through your architecture, access boundaries, operational constraints and the workflow that needs to improve.

  2. 02 / Validate

    Prove the agreed outcome.

Review the code and configuration, exercise representative workflows, and document risks and remaining work.

  3. 03 / Transfer

    Make ownership practical.

Receive the agreed repository changes, deployment procedures, runbooks and a walkthrough with your team.

Ongoing operations are a separate scope.

Covered systems, maintenance windows, response expectations and escalation ownership are agreed explicitly. Vendor fees and third-party access are discussed before work begins.
